ENG | PL Today’s post is going to be quite different from what you can usually see on our blog. I think most of us who travel at some point ask themselves a question of how does a foreigner actually see our own country. Well, I asked myself the same. Not long ago, my boyfriend have visited Poland for the first time and I took this opportunity to hold a conversation about things he noticed here. To my surprise, most of the things he mentioned are not something we even realize about our own country. To add more clarity to his point of view, let me add that he has been living in Germany for the past years and is originally from Ghana. Curious how does Poland look from a foreigner’s point of view? ENG | PL Italian cuisine is one of the most loved culinary sectors of the world. If someone would ask me what is the one thing I really miss about living in Italy, I would definitely reply: food. [Read my post about leaving Italy HERE]. And it’s not just stereotypically pizza or spaghetti. Italians have a wonderful variety of different ways of preparing fish, more or less complex sauces for a huge palette of pastas, but also other things. I am going to share with you my favourite dishes that you will have to try once we are able to go to Italy again (or make them at home!). And since we are already stuck in the quarantine, why don’t we “fake it till we make it” and have an Italian evening with homemade traditional dishes! Below you will find the best Italian dishes you should try along with recipes.
ENG | PL James Cameron’s “Titanic” is without a doubt the most popular movie taking action on a cruise ship. However, did you know that this is not the only cinematic production in which the action is fully settled on a ship? Today I will recommend you some movies & TV series about cruises available among other platforms on Netflix. Watching cruise stories will definitely make our homesteads more pleasant while awaiting our next sea adventures.
Except for some countries in the EU zone that have accepted the international EURO currency, most of the countries have their unique monetary values. In the past, going to the exchange points and buying cash was the only option available.
You can’t even imagine how happy I was when I realized that the cruise we were taking would start the journey in Venice! What did it mean for us? We started our journey a day earlier than the cruise itself to have the possibility of visiting Venice in tranquillity. I have already told you how much I actually regretted that decision afterwards HERE, but this time I would like to tell you how was it to spend 24 hours in Venice and what you could also get inspired to do there!
Unfortunately we are finding ourselves in a situation we have never imagined we would be in the middle of. A global pandemic of coronavirus covid-19 is causing our countries to suggest a self-quarantine and isolation in order to contain the virus. But I’m not going to lecture any of you on it, the news are already full of every kind of information about it. What I’m here to do is to tell you that this time spent at home doesn’t have to be hard – it all depends on your point of view on it. If you’re going to repeat to yourself what you can’t do, you will feel locked up and this will only make you feel more scared, bored or annoyed.
The charm of the cruise is related to the fact that you can visit different ports of the world everyday. Cruise companies offer a variety of excursion options for each one of them, however you should know that this is not the only option you have – you can still visit & see a lot without buying a package from the on board tour office. Curious as to why?
Mykonos is one of the most popular Greek islands, recently also nominated “the paradise of billionaires”. This luxurious destination is definitely something you won’t be able to find in any other place, no wonder the unique all-white buildings and top world class hotels are attracting over 50,000 visitors just over the summer months!
