ENG | PL We travel to the mountains for many reasons – to walk on mountain trails, visit our favorite places and breathe some fresh air in. However, the aesthetic impressions can also be provided by admiring the mountain peaks from afar, from viewpoints that will definitely please your eyes and make you appreciate the scenery. This time, we would want to show the viewpoints from which you can see the Polish mountains: Tatra & Pieniny. All of them are easily accessible by car! PS. At the end of the post, you will find a map with all of these Polish mountains viewpoints for exact locations!

ENG | PL Long winter evenings with a warm blanket and tea are a great time to catch up on reading books. I wouldn’t be myself if the books that I choose wouldn’t be relevant to travelling at least to some extent … Now, during a pandemic, getting into the fantasy world of literature is one of the ways of moving to beautiful places. They can walk you along the charming Italian streets, making you feel like the protagonists. What about having a coffee in Manhattan or taking a trip around the world stopping in the smallest villages of the world? Allow yourself to be carried away by the magic of the books’ world – unlike electronic devices, it won’t run out of battery, doesn’t need Wi-Fi and you can easily take it everywhere, even to the swimming pool. What can I recommend this time? Books set in the picturesque Italy in their background, because who wouldn’t like to bask on the sand in its marvelous corners, taste their wonderful dishes, or lose themselves in its beauty!

ENG | PL A Sunday escapade, lonely walks along the Vistula River, the discovery of the historic parts of the city or a hike to the Three Crosses Mountain – every reason is great when it comes to the visit to this wonderful city. In this post, I will show you the best ideas for what to do & what to see in Kazimierz Dolny.

ENG | PL Cruises to Greece, or so called Eastern Mediterranean cruises, are one of the most wanted itineraries that everyone wants to visit at least once. Being the most pricey cruises of the Mediterranean, Greek cruises have a lot to offer in the many ports that they sail to. We have visited the most popular Greek destinations on the cruise and we want to share with you the most important sides of all of them. Keep reading to find out how am I rating Greek Cruise Ports according to their destination value, location in reference to the terminal, transportation on site and overall beauty.

ENG | PL In Poland, there are many beautiful and unique objects that you can fall in love with at first sight. This time I took a closer look at residences in the Lublin Province. I recently introduced you to the wonderful gem in Kozłówka, and now it’s time for more palaces in eastern part of Poland. I am sure that many people have no idea that you can find these beautiful architectural wonders there!

ENG | PL Puławy is one of the underestimated destinations on the map of eastern Poland – which is quite surprising considering the number of monuments, palaces and unusual architectural gems that can be seen there. Many of them were inspired by the Italian & Spanish architectonic styles, and what’s more – they even have elements brought straight from these countries over 200 years ago. Puławy is a great place for a one-day trip from Warsaw or Lublin, and when you get there, the most interesting places are in a close proximity to each other, so you can admire all of them during a single, longer walk. It is also worth mentioning that it is the largest city on the Vistula river between Cracow and Warsaw. Let me introduce you to the most interesting places in Puławy:

ENG | PL Our trip to Masuria, the region of 2,000 lakes in Poland, was one of the hits of our “Poland expedition”. Since it’s not only a place where we personally like to come back, but also one of the most popular touristic destinations in Poland, we want to show you one more place connected to this area – the Marina Nawigator. If you’re looking for the perfect secluded getaway location, you came to the right place.

ENG | PL Imagine the leading Polish writers strolling along green alleys in the heart of a dense network of loess gorges with extremely rich, lush vegetation… One of the famous authors who enjoyed that panorama was Stefan Żeromski, who lived and worked there with his wife in the contemporary Villa Oktawia. It was also there, in Nałęczów, in a small room of the charming Małachowski Palace, that the masterpiece “Lalka” (The Doll) was created, by the incomparable Bolesław Prus. Even Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski placed one of his family buildings there – Stare Łazienki. In the Avenue of the Stars of Polish Cycling located in the Zdrojowy Park, it’s possible to find the autographs of such personalities as Zenon Jaskuła or Maja Włoszczowska.

ENG | PL While traveling around the East of Poland, you will probably bump onto the city of Siedlce more than once. Located in the Masovian Voivodeship between the Muchawka and Helenka rivers, in Southern Podlasie, the 76000-thousands populated city is definitely worth stopping and visiting its flagship beautiful places. I gathered some interesting places that you will surely like to see to enjoy your eye and your wanderlust craving 😉

ENG | PL Historical monuments are epic, let’s agree on that. They have a whole story behind them, adding up to their touristic value & making people obsess over visiting them. As a result, there are millions of people visiting the most famous monuments, cities like Rome or Venice, making it impossible to see the architectural gems in peace. But what majority of the people don’t know is that.. these characteristic landscapes most of the time have their “twins”, which are very similar if not the same, while some of them have their literal rip offs! Check out this post to discover 95 replicas of famous landmarks.
